The only resource I have been using so far is a website called Guitar Lessons.com (here is a link to the homepage: http://www.guitarlessons.com/). The website is free, and contains video lessons and tips on how to play the guitar that are helpful for anyone from a beginner-level to an advanced player. Multiple genres such as blues, rock, and metal are also covered.
